A little town with a big heart Pietarsaari, a charming town located by the sea in Ostrobothnia in western part of Finland, has long traditions and good connections. The railway, port and airport serve both local residents and businesses and contribute to the towns vitality and international atmosphere. The bilingual town has two names: Pietarsaari in Finnish and Jakobstad in Swedish.
