Helsinki West | Visit Espoo, Visit Salo, Visit Kimitoon

The island Kimitoön is Finland’s largest coastal island. In the Kimitoön municipality, there are over 5000 islands and skerries, of which around 30 are inhabited all year around and around 500 inhabited during summer. The area offers rich archipelago culture, scenic nature, silence and wildlife. The Örö fortress island, Nordic countries’ tallest and most majestic lighthouse Bengtskär, the beautiful gardens and country seats, wonderful cafeterias, the Dalsbruk harbor village and the Rosala Viking Center belong to the best known attractions in the area. The Archipelago Sea, the world’s biggest archipela-go, and the wilderness of the huge Archipelago Sea National Park, is a stunning area that we are very proud of.
